In this presentation, Dr. Chan reviews how to effectively provide care to patients presenting with oral manifestations of syphilis and other sexually transmitted infections (STI). Dr. Chan describes risk factors and identifies current recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of oral syphilis and other STIs.
The one-hour Oral Health ECHO virtual clinics offer clinicians an opportunity to present cases, receive recommendations from peers and an interprofessional team of specialists working in Indian Country, engage in a didactic presentation, obtain CDE, and become part of a learning community. Together, we will manage patient cases so that every patient gets the care they need.
