Danita Macy, is White Earth Band Anishinaabe-Ojibwe/Basque/Welsh a faculty member in the College of Health at Oregon State University serving as the Family & Community Health Program Coordinator for Urban Indigenous programs.

For the last 35 years, her work has been centered on enhancing the health and wellness of Indigenous communities creating strong healthy food systems, uplifting cultural food traditions, and supporting Indigenous Agriculture, food businesses and traditional food sovereignty initiatives through local and national Native-serving organizations.
