In this series of presentations\, Dr. Jorge Mera\, Indian Country ECHO Medical Director and Director of Infectious Diseases for Cherokee Nation\, offers advice for timely recognition and appropriate antiviral initiation to mitigate complications from influenza. Then\, Dr. Mera shares the latest evidence and guidelines for clinical and laboratory diagnosis of influenza and clinical data and best practices in prescribing antiviral medications for influenza treatment and prophylaxis.
