In this series of presentations\, Dr. Brian McMahon\, Hepatologist at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium\, will discuss screening\, treatment and management of patients with Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) in Indigenous communities. Dr. McMahon will also discuss who’s at risk for developing HCC\, the incidence for HCC\, how we identify persons with cirrhosis\, who we should evaluate\, screening methodologies\, and what we can do to improve early detection of liver fibrosis in our communities at risk for HCC.
